Porsche broken: Clutch problem.

Hello,

Ok, so I got in my car a few minutes ago, pushed the clutch to crank it, and the clutch slammed all the way to the firewall. I got out, reached down and pulled it back up and it snapped back into the up position (totally disengaged). It's basically like a switch now. If you push it hard enough, it slams to the floor/firewall, reach down and pull it up it snaps back into up position.I'm about to call the dealership in town to see if they can come get it, but if by some miracle it's an easy fix or can just be reset or something, I thought I'd ask here.

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Hi Ryan,
Presume you talk about an old Porsche, but we need more precise information about the model and construction date, because the clutch on older models is pulled by a bowden wire, and the 'newer' models are equipped with a hydraulic, like the brakes. Pls let us know, what you talk about.

Cheers - Christoph
